Annealed wire is produced trough heat treatment which induces ductility, soften material, relieve internal stresses, refine the structure by making it homogeneous and improve cold working properties. Black Annealed Wire is deployed both in civil construction and in agriculture. Hence, in civil construction annealed wire, also known as 'burnt wire' is used for iron setting. In agriculture annealed wire is used for bailing hay.
It is made of low carbon steel SAE 1006 / SAE 1008 / SAE 1010.
